Big Genes sources tell him that hearing the Sgt. Pepper record for the first time then seeing The Boonies live in the same week is what sent Brian Wilson into a funk, causing him to cancel the release of the the Beach Boys "Smile!" record resulting in a lawsuit with Capitol Records and his ensuing reclusion, (though that has not been confirmed).

A little bird told me that one year during a taping of the Osmonds meet the Denvers Christmas special, some of the children dipped into the rider mandated still setup backstage. Drunk kids being drunk kids, and cover-ups still being fashionable, the resulting offspring was whisked away to family backwoods property in the Ozarks. Being from musical families, the four brothers kept the tradition. Finally, in 2010, they figured it was finally time to step into the limelight; hey if a guy with a degree from University of Delaware can be vice-president, inbred musicians aren't even a consideration.
